Karin suffers from empty nest syndrome and loses her mother’s ring. Mavis is in menopause, and Pastor questions his purpose. Join VISTA Club for a meaningful day of learning, reflection, and connection as we visit the newly reopened Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center in Skokie. As the second largest Holocaust Museum in the United States, Illinois Holocaust Museum not only honors the memory of the millions who were taken during the Holocaust, but salutes the courage and resilience of the survivors. They are the people who rebuilt their lives and awoke the conscience of humanity, working tirelessly to tell their stories, so that none of us would ever forget. It is for them that we carry out our founding principle: Remember the Past, Transform the Future. During our visit, we will have the opportunity to explore exhibits that share the history and experiences of those affected by the Holocaust while reflecting on important lessons about courage, resilience, human rights, and the importance of standing against hatred and discrimination.

BRANSON & BEYOND
June 12 - 16, 2028
Day 1 begins by heading to Branson via motorcoach with a lunch stop (on own) along the way. Upon arriving in Branson, we will check into our hotel for the next week, the beautiful Hilton Convention Center at Branson Landing. Our comfortable hotel is conveniently located near restaurants and shopping. After check in, it’s off to dinner at the Black Oak Grill then the rest of the evening is free for you to enjoy any way you wish. (D)
Day 2 will begin with breakfast at the Grand Country Buffet, followed by a step-on guided tour of the Branson area followed by lunch on your own. This afternoon, enjoy a performance of SIX at the Pepsi Legends Theatre. You won’t believe what comes out of these 6 real brothers—percussion, instruments and harmonies—just six human voices! This evening we will enjoy a dinner at Outback Steak & Oyster Bar, then it’s off to see The Hughes Brothers Music Show. A culmination of over 40 years of experience and effort with a cast of over 50 people! Explosive energy, multilayered musical arrangements, dancers, comedians & the list goes on. Hear music from country, pop, gospel, patriotic, Broadway and more! (B, D)
Day 3 will begin with breakfast at the hotel followed by a free morning to relax at the hotel, explore Branson Landing, or whatever you would like! Lunch is on your own today. This afternoon we will head to the Dutton Family Theatre for the Dutton Show, a talented family spanning 3 generations! Afterwards, spend some time shopping at The Grand Village Shoppes followed by dinner at Mel’s Hard Luck Diner. Tonight enjoy one of the highlights of the trip—a performance at Sight and Sound Theatre (show title to be announced at a later date). (B, D)
Day 4 begins with breakfast at Full Throttle Restaurant followed by a Cave Tour & Visit to Ozark History Museum. Today lunch is on your own followed by a visit to Copper Run Distillery where we will learn all about whiskey and rum production. Tonight we will have dinner at the Keeter Center and finish off the day with a performance by the Haygoods at the Clay Cooper Theatre. (B, D)
Day 5 will begin our journey back home, taking with us fond memories of our time in Branson with friends! (B)
