Miles and miles of the rugged Atlantic coastline, waterfalls, cliffs, rolling green fields, Victorian farmsteads and the ocean vistas of Nova Scotia await you on this Canadian adventure. We begin our journey as we fly into Halifax. This 9-day trip includes: a visit to Peggy's Cove, a fishing village which features a small artists' retreat, whale watching aboard a private vessel; a stop to see the phenomenon of the Reversing Falls; traveling over the 8-mile Confederation Bridge to reach the picturesque Prince Edward Island; a stroll through the enchanting world of "Anne of Green Gables;" a traditional "kitchen party" featuring the language, song, Celtic music, dancing, and story-telling; a stop by the Alexander Graham Bell Museum dedicated to all of his achievements; visiting the mesmerizing Fortress of Louisbourg, following the Cabot Trail through forests, mountains, valleys and breathtaking ocean scenery which ends at Cape Smokey for incredible Atlantic Coast vistas; and touring St. Mary's University and the Citadel. Along the way, you will feast on fresh seafood such as lobster and fresh scallops. Plus, learn about the French, British, and Scottish heritages and visit the final resting place for the victims of the RMS Titanic.
