FIRST TRIP TO: SOUTHWEST PARKS
To kick off our National Park Series in 2016, we are excited to offer the first adventure to scenic areas of Arizona, Utah, and Nevada. Following our flight into Las Vegas, we will venture north to visit spectacular stops at the Valley of Fire with unique and colorful sandstone rock formations and ancient engravings, Bryce National Park with its incredible "hoodoo" rock formations, Grand Canyon North Rim with stunning views, a relaxing and scenic Lake Powell Canyon Cruise through two famous canyons, and Zion National Park with its incredibly massive and majestic mountains and abundant wildlife. This 6-day/5-night adventure includes breakfast and dinner each day, tour guide, two hotels, baggage handling, tax, airfare, and airport transfers. NOVEMBER 8 - 12, 2016 -- EXPERIENCE CAJUN COUNTRY: NEW ORLEANS, BAYOUS & PLANTATIONS
Last trip in 2016 but with an amazing line-up … 5 Day/4 Night Adventure to the New Orleans area with numerous highlights in New Orleans and Lafayette. Sponsored by Bloomington Vista, this unique trip begins with a flight to New Orleans and includes a City Tour, Bourbon Street, a visit to the Laura Plantation, the Houmas House & Gardens, lunch at Café Burnside, exploring in the French Quarter, and dinner at the Court of Two Sisters. NATIONAL PARK SERIES #2: TO YOSEMITE & BEYOND, JUNE 20 - 27, 2017 AND JUNE 13 - 20, 2017
We already sold out one coach and have added another departure date! This unique 2017 trip awaits you -- perhaps this is one area you haven't explored yet since it is one of the National Parks that is more difficult to reach, but Vista is delighted to be able to offer this 8-day/7-night adventure to our members. This 2nd in our National Park Series will begin with a flight to Sacramento and a chance to visit Old Town which was a commercial hub of the Gold Rush Era, along with a visit to the California State Railroad Museum. The following morning we board the Amtrak Train for a Sierra Nevada Rail Journey to Lake Tahoe through the beautiful snow-capped Sierra Nevada Mountains. Upon disembarking at Truckee, we motor coach to the South Lake Tahoe area for two nights. While there, we will visit Virginia City, Carson City, Gold Hill, and then enjoy a paddle wheeler cruise on Lake Tahoe's Emerald Bay. Then you are in for a breathtaking experience at Yosemite National Park! See iconic Half Dome, El Capitan, Yosemite Falls, Glacier Point, Bridal Veil Falls, take a guided tram ride of Yosemite Valley, and tour the famous Majestic Yosemite Hotel (formerly called the Ahwahnee Hotel). As we travel south out of Yosemite, we will visit Kings Canyon NP, and then on to Sequoia NP to view some of the world's largest trees! Enroute to our Los Angeles airport departure, we will stop at Simi Valley for a tour of the impactful Ronald Reagan Library and his Air Force One. NEW YORK CITY & BERMUDA CRUISE, JULY 26 - AUGUST 3, 2017
